The Reflections Of China Epcot Pavillion is located in Epcot's World Showcase. As with the other countries in World Showcase, each Disney cast member is from that specific country. They are wonderful to talk with about their customs and cultures. Shops feature items unique to each country, and most offer live entertainment.
The Epcot Center China pavillion offers live entertainment by the Dragon Legend Acrobats and features Chinese cuisine at the Nine Dragons restaurant. The serene atmosphere is a must see in the China pavilion. You can walk through lush gardens and koi ponds as well as admire the ornately designed buildings and landscape.
The main attraction is the movie "Reflections of China," which is shown in a circle vision 3-D theater. This is one of my husband's favorites, and the movie is both entertaining and interesting. The only drawback is that you need to stand the whole time. Kids would be better suited just to sit on the ground and take a load off for the duration.
Check out this video below to see what it's like inside the Reflections Of China Epcot attraction. Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being their experiencing all the special effects.
Be sure to check out the age recommendations below.
Ages 3-6- Kids this age will likely be bored with this one. It's best timed for an afternoon when they have had their share of stimulus, and just want to sit on the floor and "veg out."
Ages 7-11- The younger kids in the age group will likely be a bit bored, so it's best to follow the same game plan as the 3-6 year olds. The 10 and 11 year olds will likely find it fairly interesting, but are not likely to rate it a favorite.
Ages 12 and up- Teens won't rate this as a favorite, but they are likely to enjoy the presentation. Reflections of China Epcot is really designed for adults, and is really a don't miss-attraction.
