Disney Old Key West Resort

Disney Old Key West Resort is located in the Downtown Disney/Epcot center area. Considered one of the Deluxe Villas, this is resort is one of my family's personal favorites. Inspired by the leisurely pace of the Florida Keys, this resort is a wonderful break from all the hustle and bustle of the parks. We enjoy the relaxing pace and quiet of the resort, yet you still have the Disney resort feel that just isn't the same at off-site hotels.

Amenities include private porches overlooking the golf course, 2 restaurants, an arcade, bike and boat rentals, tennis, volleyball, and more. The rooms are one of the largest on Disney property, and we enjoyed the extra space (we only stayed in the 1 bedroom, but it was very spacious). The private porch was a nice place to relax and read while the little ones took an afternoon nap.

There is a bit of a walking distance back to the main check-in where you catch the busses to the park. But, if you like quiet and privacy, this is the place for you. Families that enjoy more action may find this resort's pace a bit too slow for their tastes. Prices start a $295 a night and up.
