Epcot Mexico RideThe Epcot Mexico Ride is located in the World Showcase Mexico Pavillian. Redone in 2007, this attraction is now known as the Gran Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros. Join Jose and Panchito as they search for their friend Donald Duck. Check out this video below to see what it's like to be inside the Mexico ride. Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being there experiencing all the special effects. Be sure to check out the age recommendations below. Ages 3-6- Since the ride was redone in '07, it does a better job appealing to the 3-6 year olds. The cartoon characters catch their interest along with the catchy music and storyline. Ages 7-10- Kids also enjoy the newly redone ride with the Three Caballeros. They enjoy the characters like the younger kids do, but also appreciate the neat scenes and backdrops. Ages 11 and up- The atmosphere, lighting, and backdrops are incredible. Particularly at the beginning of the ride, your boat takes you past an Aztec pyramid and the ambiance of the San Angel Inn restaurant. I have to say, maybe I'm not one for change, but I preferred the old attraction so much more. Yes, the new one is more appealing to kids, but I don't think it's as much fun for adults.
