Honey I Shrunk the Kids is located in MGM/Hollywood Studios. Often confused with Honey I Shrunk the Audience in Epcot, this attraction is really just a giant playground. Based on the late 1980's film, this playground feature larger than life props and climbing toys such as Cheerios, Legos, spiderwebs, and ants. There are mazes and slides for the kids to play on. It tends to get pretty crowded, so make sure you keep an eye out for your kids at all times!
Check out this video below to see what it's like to be inside Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being there experiencing all the special effects.
Be sure to check out the age recommendations below.
Ages 3-6- This attraction is best suited for this age group. They may be tired of being dragged from place to place, and here they can take charge of exploring on their on. It gets very crowded, and kids can roam around a little too much, so keep your eyes out!
Ages 7-10- Kids enjoy this attraction for the larger than life Legos and place to blow off steam. Unless there is a younger child in the group, you can probably skip this one. Kids in this age group have many more exciting attractions to choose from.
Ages 11 and up- Adults without kids may run screaming from this one- with the bottleneck of running, screaming, and/or pushing kids. Teens are too old to appreciate it, and should head to the Great Movie Ride or Backlot tour instead.
