The Jungle Cruise Disney World ride is located in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland. Best known for it's entertaining skippers telling corny jokes, this fun boat ride takes you along famous rivers throughout the world where you can see "wildlife" unique to each region. Well, the wildlife isn't exactly real, but compared to Animal Kingdom, you can guarantee you'll always see the animals! Your boat takes you along the Nile River, where you come across crocodiles and rhinos. You'll also run across elephants spraying water and head shrinking headhunters.
Check out this video below to see what it's like to be inside Jungle Cruise. Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being there experiencing all the special effects.
Be sure to check out the age recommendations below.
Ages 3-6- Kids this age love to see the "animals" on the ride. They probably enjoy it just as much as Animal Kingdom, since the animals are always guaranteed to be there, and you get a front-row seat.
Ages 7-10- The 7-10 year olds may roll their eyes with the fake animals, but laugh hysterically with the skipper's corny jokes and play on words. It is definitely worth seeing for the whole family.
Ages 11 and up- Teens should split up and head to Pirates or Splash Mountain instead. Most adults get a kick out of this ride with all the silly jokes and puns. Particularly if you have little ones, this is fun for the whole family.
