Splash Mountain RideThe Splash Mountain ride at Disney World is a water ride based on the Song of the South with Brer Rabbit. Join Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, Brer Fox and friends as they perform the catchy Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah song throughout the ride. The story and scenes on the inside of the ride are lots of fun, followed by dips over waterfalls, and the signature 5-story drop at the end. Be prepared to get soaked! Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being there experiencing all the special effects. Be sure to check out the age recommendations below. Based on the 5 story drop at the end, this ride is best suited for kids 6 and up. Too bad, really, since it's a wonderful story and scenery on the inside. Ages 7-10- Kids this age will absolutely love this ride. Not too scary for most, they can enjoy the dips over the waterfall, and all the cute scenery. Ages 11 and up- Teens love this ride even if it doesn't have the drops of the Tower of Terror. Just enough to get everyone exhilarated, it's a don't miss attraction. Adults will love the catchy music and cute scenes.
