Triceratop Spin RideThe Triceratop Spin ride is almost identical to the Dumbo ride in Magic Kingdom. The only difference, of course, is your car is a dinosaur. You fly in the sky on your Triceratops, while gently ascending and descending throughout the ride. The little ones get a kick out of this ride, particularly the dinosaur lovers. Located next to the Dinosaur attraction, it's a great place to take the younger kids while the other parent take the older ones to Dinosaur. Even though the video does a nice job recreating the experience, there is nothing like being there experiencing all the special effects. Be sure to check out the age recommendations below. If the kids loved Dumbo, they'll love this one. However, it is so similar to neighborhood carnival rides that you can do in your hometown, that I hate to waste precious Disney time. If your kids love it, by all means it's worth the wait. Ages 7-10- The six and seven year olds still enjoy this ride. It's great for them to ride this while the older siblings head to Dinosaur. The 8-10 year olds are better served with something more age appropriate like Primeval Whirl. Ages 11 and up- Most of the attractions in Dinoland are just too young for teens (except for Dinosaur). Teens should go to Dinosaur or head to Expedition Everest while the younger ones are in Dinoland. Adults on the other hand can appreciate most of these rides, especially watching their own kids light up with excitement.
